and blast a message to your missing laptop to try to quickly change the boot-up security
screen from remote to state THIS COMPUTER IS REPORTED STOLEN.
2. Send lockdown code:
You can also send a 1-50 character lockdown code that you create to the missing
computer. Not only does this help protect your information, but it is a great tool to help
prevent internal theft (for example a disgruntled employee who says they can't find their
laptop, but they are still using it at home).
3. Update your recovery information:
New cell phone number or email address? You can sign in to your account,
and update your information from remote to make sure it is current.
